still on the wagon

I still have not full on binged-almost got there a few times but somehow manage to stand back breathe and say to my self, “how will you feel if you eat this?”, “Is this really what you want?”, “why am i going to eat this?”. It seems to really work and the more i resist the better at it i get at not giving in. 


Yesterday was very very hard. It being new years eve, I was out with my boyfriend and there was food everywhere. For breakfast I had a small bowl of shredded wheat with low fat milk, lunch was the main meal teryiaki salmon with steamed greens and a small amount of noodles. dinner was finger food about 500 cals worth id say and an ice cream- the only sugary food I ate that day but it was difficult and I ate more far than I should.


Today i am on my own so resisting a big blow out is proving difficult. breakfast was shredded wheat, lunch was beef stew, dinner will be a curry, i will also have a sugar free skim milk hot choc and an apple. sounds not too bad but i have already eaten toast and nibbled on bits such as cheese salmon crisps, even though I was not hungry, I didn’t even want to eat anything, stupid habit that i have to break though it will not be easy. 

I will post the recipe for tonight’s curry this evening if it turns out well.
